FAQ’s
What types of waste do you manage?
We handle hazardous, liquid, and restricted waste — including PFAS, industrial wastewater, contaminated soils, asbestos, chemicals, paints, pesticides, and tyres.
Not sure what you’re dealing with? We’ll help identify and classify your waste safely and legally.
What’s the difference between hazardous, liquid, and restricted waste?
Hazardous waste is flammable, toxic, or corrosive and must follow strict EPA rules.
Liquid waste flows freely and needs secure containment.
Restricted waste contains elevated contaminants. We’ll handle classification, transport, and disposal — no guesswork needed.
Why do these waste streams need special treatment?
Because they pose serious risks to people and the environment. We follow best-practice treatment methods backed by EPA guidelines to ensure safety and compliance.
What happens if my company doesn't comply with regulations?
Non-compliance can lead to fines, legal action, and environmental harm. Working with CleanEra keeps you protected and audit-ready.
How can I be sure I'm legal and compliant?
We’re a licenced EPA operator. Our chemists and waste experts ensure your waste is managed legally, with full documentation. We’ll guide you through every step.
Where is your location and why operate from there?
Mt Thorley in the Hunter Valley is a dedicated heavy industrial zone with serious infrastructure around safety, traffic flow, noise and environment factors. Our CleanEra facility is fully licenced under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act (EPA) as both a waste and resource recovery facility. Our unique location in NSW outside of the Sydney Metro means we have abilities to accept waste streams from QLD and VIC also.
